In 1881, the R.J. Ederer Company began in Chicago, Illinois, manufacturing fishing nets for America’s growing maritime industries. In 1956, Robert "Bob" Francis Ederer became the first netting manufacturer in the South, founding Coastal Net and Twine Co. in Biloxi, Mississippi.
We are now a fifth-generation, family-owned business proudly rooted in quality, craftsmanship, and service. For decades, we’ve delivered high-performance netting, twine, and installation services to industries ranging from sports and agriculture to construction and beyond.
